Logan is 1 Month Old!

This past Monday July 24th, Logan turned 1 month old! I can't even believe where the time went. Being a Mom sure seems to make time go by faster and all I want to do is slow it down. I already feel like he is growing up too fast and it makes me sad. But I am enjoying every precious moment entirely!

Some things he is doing now:

*He has started smiling for real! It is so exciting to watch him get excited about something. He truly has a GREAT SMILE.

*He LOVES to be held. If he is awake all he wants to do is be in your arms. He loves to look around and take it all in there.

*He has just started really liking bath time.

*He is sleeping a bit longer at night but he has to be swaddled very tightly so he can't fight his arms out. He will sleep longer and more peacefully if he stays tight.


Today he had his 1 month doctors appointment. He was measured and I know Jeremy and I were very curious to see what percentile he was in for height, weight, and head circumference.

So here are the measurements:

Height : 22.8in - 84%

Weight : 11lbs 11oz - 89%

Head Circumference : 39cm - 63%

So there you have it! He is growing like crazy and is out of most of his 0-3 month clothes.

Hint of a SMILE!!!!!!

Logan is beginning to show signs of a true smile (not just those gas bubbles :) ) and today I caught a glimpse of it on camera. He is also starting to focus on objects and has been enjoying his bouncer chair the last few days!

This past weekend, Jon, Katie, and Jaxon made the trip out here to meet our newest addition. Jaxon absolutely loved meeting baby Logan. He kept saying "Baby?, Baby?" He did such a good job with him and it was really fun to see the two cousins together for the first time. The weekend was spent hanging out, going to the beach, and spending some time at the park! We all had a really good time. The next time we are together we will be celebrating another new addition! Can't wait!

Mommy's Little Monkey

Here are just a few of my favorites! Logan is such a good baby. He loves loves loves to eat but that was to be expected of course in this family. He also loves to look at his Mommy and Daddy! He is also very strong for being so young. He can hold his head up pretty well and likes to push off his legs and stand for short periods of time.

Grandma and Papa Stanzel were able to be there for his birth. What a special time!

On July 24th, 2009, at 12:41pm, Jeremy and I welcomed Logan Lee Wright into our world. He weighed 7lbs 13 ounces and was 21in. long. He had quite a bit of dark hair (especially in the back) and very long beautiful eyelashes, just like his Daddy! The whole family is very healthy and happy.
