Jordy is 2 Months Old!

Finally a picture of him smiling! He has such a great smile!
Jordy turned 2 months old today! He is just the sweetest little boy. That is the best way I can describe him at this point. He LOVES to cuddle, loves to look at people, and is cooing quite a bit these days. Sooo Sweet!

Some things he is doing now:
* He is holding his head up pretty well
* He loves smiling at his Mommy :) and anyone else
* He is getting better at tummy time although does not like it very much at all
* He is still fussy in the evenings (some nights better than others) and still pretty "snorty" although it seems like he is getting better.
* He is wearing mainly 3-6 month clothes although he is in some 6 month+ because of his length.
* He is much more alert these days and has begun tracking things with his eyes

Christmas in Cali

What's Christmas without lights? Well we made sure to hit one of the best blocks for lights around. No kidding, I have never seen lights like this! They were awesome and I even heard someone say this wasn't even their best year. Apparently this block of homes always puts on quite the show. This was our first Christmas as a family of four and we spent it here in California, just us. We definitely wished we were home with our families but since we couldn't we made sure to do our best here. On Christmas Eve we went to Chrurch and made it through Mass quite easily surprisingly and they even had a donkey on hand for the kids to visit. Logan loved it! Santa somehow moved the Chritmas Tree upstairs to the playroom before he left. Oh how I love having kids! I think I could hardly sleep waiting for Santa to arrive! :) Needless to say we were up bright an early as is our usual routine, enjoyed the traditional Wright family Monkey Bread and then headed up to open presents. We did have to take a break to get in the daily nap for Logan but then proceded once he woke up. The rest of the day was lazy and relaxing. Jeremy made the traditional Wright family pizza and it was his best yet! Amazing! Logan kept wanting "more more". :) We hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and remembered the Reason for the Season. We are blessed!




My little Santa Clause

Visit with Santa

A few days ago we visited Santa at Bass Pro Shop. Logan did not know what to think of the jolly old man. He got very quiet but never cried. I think he liked it though because he has been saying "Santa Santa" since then.

The Many Faces of Jordy!

So today I was going to really try to catch him smiling BUT this is what I got instead. :) My goofy little monkey was just making me smile instead. I swear he was talking to me through his faces.

Jordy is 6 Weeks Old!

Today he had is 6 week check-up and he is doing fabulous. Here are his measurements . . .

Height: 23.5 in - 87%

Weight: 11lbs 3oz - 59%

Head Circ: 37.6cm - 17%

Yes I know he has a small head . . .But I have a small head so I guess it makes sense. :)
He is really starting to smile at Mommy and I am loving every one of his beautiful smiles. I hope I can get one of them on camera very soon. He is still very mellow and doing better in the evening with his colic. He is definitely a cuddler and that makes me happy. He just loves to be held and is pretty much happy with the world when he is in your arms. We love you Jordy!

Playdate with Good Friends

Yesterday we headed to our friend Ann's house to play. Logan had a great time and is really starting to develop little friendships. It is so cute to see! Jordy got to hang out with our newest friend Charlie. She is super adorable and only about a month older than Jordy.

Visiting Daddy at Work

Yesterday the boys and I decided to go visit Jeremy at work. I took them both inside and of course had to show them off. Everyone wanted to see Jordy and Logan and Dad made there way around the office. It was nice to get out and have lunch with Jeremy, not to mention see some friends. :)



Jeremy decided to put Logan in the Toys Box because it fit him so perfectly. Not sure what Logan thought of the whole thing hence the look straight for Mom.

Logan LOVES to talk on the phone and especially to Daddy so whenever he can get his hands on Mommy's phone he does not hesitate to pretend he is talking to Jeremy

Uncle Jon Visits!

This weekend Jeremy's brother Jon came to visit and meet his new nephew. Jeremy and Jon found some time to play some football and of course Logan wanted to join in. Jordy has really started to "wake up" lately and is changing so much. Logan absolutely loved having his Uncle "Yawn" as he would call him and so did we. Thanks for coming!
