Jordy Is 9 Months Old!

Jordy is 9 months old today and our mellow little baby is no longer. He still has his moments where he is quite quiet and can be totally engrossed in whatever he is playing with but he now has another side. His personality is starting to show and he can be a little crazy too. He loves to scream and laugh and throw his body all around.

Some things he is doing these days:

• He just started sleeping through the night!!! ( I swear it was his comfy crib ;) )
  


• Sadly nursing is coming to an end. My supply is depleting and he is loving the bottle.



• He is starting to say da da da da
  


• Logan can make him laugh just by looking at him



• He is getting closer to crawling and has started rocking on his knees every now and then



• He just got his second bottom front tooth in



• He is just starting to eat a few finger foods



• Wearing mostly 12-18 month clothes
  


• He has just begun to wave



• He and Logan are taking baths together every night. Seriously the cutest thing ever!
  

Jordy has his 9 month appointment in a couple weeks so I will post his stats after that.

Big Boy Bed!!

Task #2 for the summer is accomplished! Yay! After Grandma Dee left last Tuesday, "Operation Big Boy Bed" began. Since Tuesday night Logan has been sleeping in the twin bed in his new room at both night time and nap time. Equally exciting is the fact that Jordy is finally in the crib! He has been sleeping in a pack and play since he was born and I am so happy that he can call the crib his now. The transition did take some time getting used to but it went pretty smooth. Logan is now enjoying his new bed and Jordy actually fell asleep in his crib tonight without tears. Officially I can say that "Operation Big Boy Bed" was a success! Now on to task #3 . . . POTTY TRAINING!

Logan got Woody and Buzz action figures for his Birthday. Toy Story is his new favorite movie. Last night he got to stay up late and have a pizza party with Mom and Dad and watch Toy Story "2". Very appropriate for our "2" year old. He LOVED it!

A Day At The Beach

Last Sunday we spent the day at the beach. We discovered a new beach in Laguna that we had never been to and I think we will definitely be heading back. It was beautiful and we had a great time.

Logan's Dino-Mite Birthday Party

Last week I had a Dinosaur birthday party for my little 2 year old. Just saying that number throws me off. I look at him these days and can't figure out what happened. He is my fun-loving little boy who has seemed to grow up so quickly over the past 6 months. He and several of his little buddies started the morning off at Partyopolis where they spent an hour jumping in the bounce houses and going down the slides. He had a blast and so did Mommy! ;) Grandma Dee was in town also and was able to share in his party. After Partyopolis, we headed back to our house to play and eat lunch. Ashlynn, one of the other moms' said, "I have never seen another little kid enjoy their party so much!" It was as if he said, if I am going to have a birthday party I am going to do it right. He had 4 peices of pizza, 2 peices of cake, jumped like crazy, did our 1 sticker activity that I had planned for a good 15 min. (not too bad for a two year old) and thoroughly enjoyed all of his friends. It was truly a great day!!!! And if you are wondering where Daddy was, I had the party on a Thursday morning more like a playdate because of everyones schedules and so Daddy was at work. We will be celebrating with Daddy on Sunday.

Visiting Daddy at Work!

This week we headed to see Jeremy at his Jobsite in Anaheim. We hadn't visited in awhile so I decided to take of few picture of the project. He is currently working on a Kaiser Permanente Hospital and more specifically the HSB Administrative building that is attached.

4th of July Fetsivities

Over the 4th of July weekend we spent time with lots of friends. We barbequed and enjoyed good company.

On Monday we headed down to the Lake Forest Parade. This is our second year going and we had a great time. Before the parade started Logan managed to find a new friend who let him ride in his fire truck. Logan loved it!
