Logan Starts Preschool
My first baby started preschool last week! What!?! These milestones are really starting to bother me. ;) But I guess I have to get used to that right. It was such a fun morning with him because he was beyond excited! Jeremy was able to meet us at his school so both he and I could be there for his orientation.
Logan's bucket! They use buckets instead of backpacks.
Logan and Jeremy were completing the scavenger hunt in his classroom. Logan had just found the sink!
He jumped right in to play with the boys
He was not at all nervous when it was time for Mom and Dad to go to a meeting. He was having too much fun with his new teachers, Ms. Nancy, and Ms. Kristen. As you can see in the picture he was not shy at all! So proud of my baby!

Old Timers 2012
Friday night we spent our evening enjoying the annual Old Timers Banquet honoring those working for Hensel Phelps who have reached a milestone within their careers. It's always a nice night to get dressed up sans kids and have fun with friends.
Actually a nice picture of us. Rarely do we seem to get one of us.
It's always a good time with these ladies!
Ok, the next series of pictures needs some explanation. Every year for the past several years, HP has given one final award at the end of the night. It is called the "CLM Award" aka the "Career Limiting Move Award". It is all meant in fun but is given to the person whom HP has decided said or did something that could potentially not be the best thing to do in front of that person's bosses. But again let me reiterate it's all in good fun. Second part of the story has to do with Jeremy on the company fishing trip that he went on a few weeks ago in which I received a call from him. He proceeded to tell me how he he was probably going to need to look for another job as he had just slapped the CEO of his company in the face with a fish by accident. Really Jeremy!!! Doesn't get much more Career Limiting than that honey! haha! BTW he was kidding about needing to find another job.
Discovery Science Center
A couple weekends ago we headed to the Discovery Science Center on a Saturday morning. We had never been there and although it is geared for a little bit older kids, the boys had a lot of fun.
Yes that is Logan imprinted into a giant whatever those things are called :)
Logan was checking out the Tornado
Playing with shadows
Jordy really liked riding on the hockey zamboni
The boys grocery shopping with the digital scanner
Notice the wind mph's . . .It was pretty intense!
And just two random pics that I wanted to include :)

Shaver Lake
The last weekend in August we headed North past Fresno with our friends', the Arredondo's, and the Clark's for a weekend at Dominic's Family cabin at Shaver Lake. It was so nice to get away spend some time at the lake. We spent a couple days exploring nature, hanging at the lake and on the boat, and sitting around the campfire roasting s'mores. The boys absolutely LOVED being able to play with sticks and rocks freely (for the most part). They are such boys. And I loved letting them really get to explore and get dirty.
Logan and Addison playing before bed the first night
The next morning, all the kids with Blaine and Jeremy
Logan had just found the hugest pine cone. He was quite excited!
The boys picking wildflowers
Kenley enjoyed picking flowers too
Jeremy with his boys
Jordy's first time in the hiking backpack. He loved it!
The Daddy's with their kiddo's on our little walk
Our picnic lunch at the lake
Logan, Addison and Kenley playing in the water. Logan didn't leave the water the entire time we were at the lake!
Jeremy swam over to the little island by himself and then Logan wanted to go too. He swam with Logan on his back the next time.
Jordy spent a lot of time playing in the sand
Back at the cabin, the kids watched as the guys got the camp fire started
Saturday we headed to the lake again to spend the guys got the camp fire started
Blaine and Mel . . .Such a cute couple!
Dominic, Erin, and Chase ready to head out
Jeremy with Ken and Addison
Grill Master
Not sure . . .
Ken was the only one that managed a nap that day besides little Chase
Both nights Jeremy led the kids around like he was their camp counselor. The used sticks to draw and looked at all sorts of different things. It was pretty cute. Our own little "Camp Jerewaca". Haha!
Such a great trip with great friends!
