Omaha Part 2
More from our Omaha trip included a trip to the zoo (Which btw is definitely the best zoo I have been to and that includes San Diego), checking out a cool art exhibit called "Architects of Air", catching up with a few old friends, and LOTS of time in the water and playing outside.
At the zoo in the Leid Jungle
The boys had such a good time with their Uncle Jack
Seeing "Crush" from "Finding Nemo" go right over their heads in the aquarium was super cool for them
Logan got to get up close to a baby gorilla and it's Mama. They stayed there and "talked" to Logan for quite some time. So neat!
Playing in Grandma's pool
The mowing duo!
We went downtown to check out the "Architects of Air" Art exhibit that stopped in Omaha on its national tour. It was something like a bounce house so I figured the boys would enjoy it but it was also a neat use of light and plastic to form this creative spaceship like environment. Not real sure how else to describe it. Logan thought it was awesome and really liked exploring the different tunnels and rooms but Jordy on the other hand was very unsure of the whole thing and wanted to be held most of the way through. It did make for some very interesting and neat pictures though.
Had the chance to see a couple of old friends from high school and their babies. I always LOVE seeing them.
This pictures shows how humid Omaha was. Every time I went outside with my camera it would fog up and I wouldn't be able to take pics for awhile. I thought this one was kind of cool though. Every night the boys would run the length of Grandma and Papa's backyard. I think they really enjoyed having an actual yard to play in.
They were discussing where in Grandma's garden to explore next.

Omaha Part 1
The boys and I have been in Omaha since last Tuesday while Jeremy is in Canada fishing and we have been having a blast trying to survive the heat. We have been staying very busy as there is a lot going on in Omaha right now.
Logan is OBSESSED with puzzles right now so of course Grandma has a bunch of puzzles to keep him busy. He will sit and do them for over an hour or more if you let him.
Blowing bubbles with Papa
Hanging with Uncle Jack
Exploring Grandma's backyard and finding an egg. Such little boys.
We headed downtown to the Gene Leaghy Mall to go down the slides that we used to go down as kids. Along the way we met two swans and their babies which was a treat for the boys.
A race down!
Everyone having so much fun!
Not sure who is having more fun . . . Me or the boys! :)
After the park we headed down the street to first day of the USA Olympic Swimming Trials. Such and awesome atmosphere and so neat to check out.
Little ways to go buddy but watch out everyone . . .Logan's coming!
The boys like riding on the shark. Logan was a little concerned with "Bruce" watching from behind.
Lake Tahoe HP Trip
A couple weeks ago, Jeremy and I got a very nice and much needed getaway to Lake Tahoe with his company. What a nice little bonus to celebrate the hard work of those employees on their latest hospital job. And it's not to bad that the spouses got to go as well! ;) Lake Tahoe is definitely one of the most beautiful places I have been. Based on the pictures you will be able to tell that we were having a great time with our good friends. Definitely have some great memories from this trip. And the best part was that our boys were home with both their grandmas'. Not much better than that!

At dinner the second night. We definitely ate well!

My new favorite picture of Jeremy and I. The view was amazing!

Camp Pendleton Mud Run
The Camp Pendleton Mud Run was on June 9th and this year was my year to run while Jeremy watched the boys. Michelle, Karen, and I had a great time!

Play Date At The Pool
An overcast day makes for the perfect day at the pool. We had the entire pool to ourselves and the kids had a blast. Totally looking forward to more pool play dates with our great friends.

Memorial Day Weekend
First and foremost this weekend is in honor of our country's fallen soldiers and their families who have endured too much pain for the sake of this wonderful country. For that we thank you! Without forgetting that we truly had a wonderful weekend spent with great friends, enjoying the sun, and celebrating Jeremy's birthday! What a great way to start summer!
The guys and their babies! LOVE IT!
Jordy was signing "more" in this picture because he was wanting to jump off the side of the pool to Dad some more.
Blaine and Kenbug enjoying the sun
I LOVE the pool!
Logan is soooo much more comfortable in the water this year and Jeremy and him were having a blast
Love these beautiful girls!
LOVE!
Our Baby Gorilla
Jordy has a very cute way of walking/running with his arms up and I want to always remember it. I know he will slowly out-grow it so I thought I would post a couple videos of him walking like our little baby gorilla.
Pay attention to this first video as Logan is dragged away to meet the flower girl's dad! So cute!
