Great Wolf Lodge

After Easter in Hutch we headed to KC for a few days at the Great Wolf Lodge. We did get to see the Wright cousins for a couple hours when we got there and also got to have dinner with Uncle Jon one night. Everyone enjoyed our time there. There was so much for the boys to do. Besides the water park, the guys played putt putt golf, we spent time in the arcade, played the Magic Quest game that could be played throughout the hotel, and went to story time. It was a fun little family vacation.

Easter Morning

Easter morning we all went to church and most definitely sat in the last pews. Lol! All five of the kids did really well and we made it through the service without any disturbances. I thought they did great! After church we headed back to Gma and Papa's to see what the Easter Bunny had left. The Hunt was really fun for all the kids. Even Baylor and Harper caught on pretty well.

Easter in Hutchinson

So clearly I have had no time to update the blog. I will try to do a quick recap of Easter weekend. We spent Easter weekend in Hutchinson with Grandma and Papa Wright. It was absolutely wonderful! We were able to color Easter Eggs with Adi and decorate cookies. We also spent tons of time in the backyard as we always do exploring their perfect yard for a boy! Logan seemed to have worms in his hands the entire time we were there. Ha! We also headed to the new park in Hutch with Grandma, Aunt Amy, Baylor and Adi. It was definitely a hit with all the kids.

Playing Catch Up

Just a few random pics from last month! Yes I am definitely behind again and playing catch up. :)

Fishing with Papa Burt

So last Friday night we decided that since we had NOTHING scheduled for Saturday (which rarely happens)that we would hop in the car early Saturday morning and drive down near Clay Center, KS to meet Papa Burt and go fishing on a family friend's land. Although that means packing up a lot of "stuff" it was a beautiful day and definitely worth the family time.
Jordy's short lived fishing moment! Ha! He was more interested in exploring.
Logan on the other hand has already developed a love of fishing like his Dad and Papa Burt
This picture cracks me up . . .In their hats!
We saw these guys on our way down so when we passed them on the way back I snapped this pic as we drove by. Not to bad on the timing, right! LOL Only in Nebraska!
