Christmas in KC

We celebrated our Wright family Christmas in Kansas City on the weekend of December 12th. We were all there to celebrate Christmas as well as celebrate Jordan's 1st Birthday and Jaxon's 8th Birthday. It is always so fun to have all the cousins together in one place. They really love being together and I love seeing Grandma and Papa Wright with all of them.

Fresh Cuts

The boys got some fresh new haircuts from Dad in early December. They are a little edgier then their usual cuts and I am digging them. I think they like them too. Jordy's preschool teacher informed me that one of the little girls in his class told her, "Jordy is just so handsome with his new haircut, I just can't think about anything else!" Haha but I can't disagree, he sure is cute! They both are!

Gingerbread Houses

After weeks of "When are we doing Gingerbread Houses?" in their whiniest of voices, we FINALLY got them done. Dec 6th, check that off the list! I do love the tradition and so do they but sheesh!!!! Actually the boys did really well with doing most of theirs on their own and me actually letting them. Harper wasn't really interested yet and that was probably a good thing. ;) She came and went as she pleased.

First Snow

We got a little snow shortly after Thanksgiving and unfortunately we haven't had much since. However we took full advantage of it. The kids each made their own snowman, even Harper but I somehow didn't get a pic of hers :(.

Thanksgiving 2015

This Thanksgiving we had my parents, my brother, and Jeremy's parents to our house. It was very low-key and simple. The kids had fun helping me set up for the day. We used our good china that we got at our wedding for the first time! It was a wonderful day and we have a lot to be Thankful for.
I love this photo of Jordy and Grandma Cindy. Jordy wanted to learn how to peel potatoes so I let him help with the last few. He was so happy to help and be a part.
After dinner, Harper somehow got herself into this basket and stayed there for about 30 min. Goofy girl!

Fall Leaves

One Saturday we spent the afternoon helping Jeremy rake leaves. I decided it was also a great time to snap some pics. Plain and simply, it was just a good day!

Fall Basketball

These pics are not the greatest but unfortunately they are the only ones I got this season of Logan playing. I was just beusy keeping the other two from going onto the floor and usually forgot the camera too. But despite the not so great pics, Logan had lots of fun and really liked keeping score (even though they don't do that in this early league) and playing defense.
