Going To The Chapel!

This past week Jeremy and I went seperate directions as we each headed to different weddings in different parts of the country. Logan and I were headed to Charleston, SC for my cousin Angie's wedding and Jeremy was headed to Portland for our friends' Nick and Amber's wedding. And how was traveling with a 1 year old by myself you might ask? Well he did great considering he had to endure 3 flights across country and really was very good.

While we were in SC we had the opportunity to visit an old family friend. It was so wonderful to get the chance to see him again and we wished we could have spent more time with him. I was really happy he got to meet Logan.

We also got to spend an afternoon in downtown Charleston. I have never been to the east coast so to get a chance to see some of our own country's history was really neat and made me want to spend lots more time there. Everything about the are was very old and well kept. It was pretty awesome to see some of the homes that have been there since before the Revolutionary War.

Next on the agenda was a BBQ the night before the wedding at Angela and Matt's house. They had a beautiful home and it was fun to see Logan with some of his 2nd cousins.

Logan's 1st time in the Atlantic Ocean

My Uncle Kevin and Aunt Linda with my cousins Abby and Michael

The proud Daddy and Soon-To-Be Husband, Matt

My cousin Cameron and his wife Trish with their three girls, Cara, Katie, and Julie

The Beautiful Bride Angela with her Dad, Mark

It was really hot but at least we had the fans :)

And then came the rain! And boy did it ever. But they say God is in the rain so it must have been God's Blessing on Matt and Angela's Marriage!

Now we will switch over to Nick and Amber's wedding in Portland where Jeremy was.

Such a beautiful couple!

As you can see Logan is in this last picture and you might ask, how did he get there? Well to make a long story short Angie's wedding was on Friday so we were scheduled to fly home early Saturday morning. However, our initial flight out of Charleston was delayed causing us to miss our next flights. Therefore we were re-routed to Portland. What are the chances of that, right? Anyways we had had a very LONG day of flying already and still had a nearly 3 hour flight to get us back to Orange County. So Momma decided to do some finnagleing (that's a word right :)) and got us a flight the next morning so we rented a car and drove to the wedding. We made it for part of the reception and Daddy was very excited to see us. It will definitely be a trip I will never forget.
