Where Did Logan's Arms Go?

I put him in his bouncer and went to get something and when I came back he was bouncing around without his arms! Where did your arms go, I asked? He just smiled and kept bouncing. It was very cute!

Logan is 3 Months Old!

Logan turned 3 months old this past Saturday and I can officially say that my baby boy is not so little anymore. I can't believe how much he has changed in 3 months. He is no longer an infant that doesn't do a whole lot (although he has never been a big sleeper). He is now my smily happy baby and I feel like the luckiest mommy there is to have him for my son. :)

What is Logan Doing Now:

*As you can see he is very close to being able to sit on his own.

*He loves to pull himself up holding your fingers from a laying down position all the way to standing

* He is finding his voice and loves to babble and carry on conversations with anyone that will talk to him. (Mommy and Daddy of course)

* He loves to play the game where he catches my attention, smiles a big smile at me then looks away. He repeats this over and over. Each time the smile gets bigger.

* He is very into watching football with Daddy (Not sure if this is such a good one or not)

* He is sleeping about 3 sometimes 4 hour stretches at night and still needs to be swaddled very tightly. Although he is getting to the point where he wants to be out of the swaddle but will only stay asleep for a short period because he is still jostleing himself awake with his flailing arms.

* He is threatening a giggle although it hasn't technically happened yet. He makes lots of noise, often loud as if he is yelling but not a true giggle. It will be very soon though.

And as for his measurements, we did not have a doctors appointment this month so we don't have any from there. I however weighed him the other day.

Weight: 16lbs 7oz

Height: ?

Grandparents Weekend!

This weekend Grandma and Papa Stanzel came to visit. The weather was beautiful and it made for a very relaxing and fun weekend. We celebrated Grandma Dee's Birthday, went to the Pumpkin Patch, and watched lots of football. Sounds like a great fall weekend to me. Jeremy and I even got to go on a date! It was so fun to see Logan with the Grandparents. He is really starting to show his personality and he loves to smile and play. It was a truly wonderful weekend! Thanks for coming Grandma and Papa Stanzel!

This Past Week

This past week was a very normal week for our household but Logan's funny personality is starting to really emerge. One night he would not go to sleep for anything. After about 2 hours of rocking, walking, singing, swaddling, and anything else I could think of I decided to let him lay in our bed in between Jeremy and I as we watched a little tv. Logan loved getting to "hang out" with Mom and Dad. You could tell he enjoyed it and was very calm and content. Soon, he began staring at me. Jeremy said, "Look at him looking at you!" And when I looked down at him he smiled a huge smile and looked away as if he got shy. We repeated this over and over. Logan looks at Mommy, Mommy looks at Logan, Logan smiles and coos and shys away. This was the first time he had done this and it is a memory I will always remember.

My Little Smurf

Logan loves going jogging/walking with Mommy.
Here he is in the jogger just before we headed out for our run.
Go K-State

Still proud to be a Wildcat even after a less than desireable game against Texas Tech.

Logan is still a little little for his bouncer but he loves it anyways. We can tell this is going to be a huge hit when he figures out how to jump in it.

Logan's 1st Playdate

Today, Logan and I visited some friends of ours, Ashlynn and Kyler Herren. Logan and Kyler were so adorable together. It was fun to see them check each other out. Kyler is 8 weeks older than Logan so it will be lots of fun watching them grow up together. I know they are going to be good buddies!
