Zoo Day

Before Jeremy started work again, we took him to the Omaha Zoo for a fun afternoon. It really is a GREAT zoo. The highlight was by far, touching the stingrays. We spent over an hour there.

Welcome To Your New Home Daddy!

Welcome to your new home Daddy! So the kids and I moved to Omaha at the beginning of August. Jeremy, however, did not arrive for about two more weeks because of his remaining work schedule in California. The day Jeremy arrived with his Dad, so did Cindy, Amy, and the kids. It was so fun welcoming everyone to our new home. Harper really misses her daddy when he is gone and the day he arrived was no different. She literally held on to him in a hug for over 30 minutes. It was so sweet! Jeremy was a bit overwhelmed (in a good way) with her reaction.

Saying Good-bye is So Hard to Do . . .

The hardest part about leaving California was to say good-bye to all of our dear friends. And especially to say good-bye to our best friends, the Stalkers. Over the last two years we have become the best of friends. Not only is it absolutely amazing to find someone you can call your best friend, but it is even more wonderful when your children become the best of friends. We spent so much time together as a group and created so many wonderful memories that I will carry with me forever. I am hoping or should I say, "going to make sure" this is not good-bye, but just until we meet again. Stalker family, we miss you dearly and can't wait to see you all again!

Good-Bye Party with Logan's Preschool Class

A few days before we left California, Logan's preschool class threw us a "Good-bye" party. Every single kid from his class was there. It was at Tatum's house in her family's beautiful backyard. Everyone had a really fun time and it was so nice of our preschool friends to do that for us. We certainly do miss all of them!

Last Beach Day

We had one last beach day with with some of Jeremy's co-workers from HP. It was a wonderful and bittersweet day. The tide was low and all the kids got to spend several hours gathering tons of hermit crabs among the rocks. They had so much fun! An amazing last beach day for awhile. So many of Jeremy's co-workers/friends came to say good-bye as well. We definitely felt the love from our So-Cal family. It was an all around good day!
