Harper is 16 Months

This little lady is 16 months old and I feel like she needs an update. She is growing up so fast and I can't stand it. She is sweet and smart, feisty, and fearless, all rolled into one adorable little peanut. She is starting to sing, loves to dance, eats with a fork and spoon, eats all day long, weighs about 24lbs, loves cashews and popcorn, babbles constantly but has few words, has mastered the art of nodding her head "yes" or "no", loves baby dolls and blocks. She is my little helper always trying to unload or load the dishwasher, a little emotional, loves her brothers to death (when they are not bugging her ;)), prefers to stand or squat in the tub (haven't figured it out because she loves the bath just likes to stand in the water), is pretty good at independent play, likes me to put her hair in pig tails or pony tails, and loves to try to make us laugh. She is very silly but also very cuddly. She is just such a sweet little girl and this is such a fun age with her!

Halloween 2014

Always playing catch up these days it seems. I am nearly a month behind on getting our Halloween pics posted. Better late than never, right?!?! Papa and Gma Wright spent Halloween weekend with us and helped celebrate Jordy's Birthday. It was so cold but the boys did great. Logan and Jordy were The Mario Brothers and Harper was the Toad. Our neighborhood was packed with kids. Harper lasted about 30 min and then headed back to the house with Gma and Papa Stanzel to pass out candy. She could not have been any happier with her new job!
The next day we continued the Birthday Celebration at Chucky Cheese. The boys absolutely LOVE this place so we took both sets of Grandparents there for the day. Jordy had a blast!
Skiball was definitely where it was at! Jordy and the rest of the fam hung out at skiball for quite some time!
And Finally enjoying his "Train" cake he asked for! Happy Birthday Jordy G!

Jordy is 4!

Jordy is 4! Our silly, quirky, sweet boy is growing up. He has no problem going at his own speed and his sweet disposition keeps him wrapped around our fingers. He has an amazing imagination that keeps me intrigued. I absolutely love to just have alone time with Jordy and listen to him talk. He amazes me with what he knows and his kind heart. He is an awesome brother to Logan and Harper amd will always play with either of them. He is a great helper to Mom and Dad and a giver by nature. He would rather you have something than him. We love you to the moon and back Jordy G!
Some things about Jordy at 4 . . .
Favorite color - Blue
Favorite Food - Macaroni and Cheese
Favorite Drink - Chocolate Milk
Favorite show - Still probably Bubble Guppies
What he wants to be when he grows up - a Fireman
Favorite Toy - Trains but he plays with anything and everything
Best Friends - Eliot from California, Riley from school, and his brother
He rarely makes it through an entire movie but his favorite is probably "The Lorax"

We headed to the Childrens's Museum on his Birthday to celebrate. Of course everyone had a great time there. They always do!
Later that evening we carved pumpkins. Jordy chose a skeleton and Logan decided on Mario. Harper did not make it to this part of the night. She was one tired gal.

First Time Fishermen

Jeremy took the boys fishing a couple different times this past month. They headed down to Kansas to a spot Papa Burt likes to fish. They each got fishing poles for their Birthdays so they were set. Jordy got his on the last trip down the day before his B-Day. He was excited. Papa Burt also got each of the boys their own tackle box so they were set. Logan really is developing a love of fishing. He likes to hold the fish and is willing to help in nearly every part of fishing. Jordy is still a little hesitant to touch the fish but had fun for his first time. I love that they were able to meet up with Papa Burt for the day and create these awesome memories.

It's A Mario Bros. Time

St. Stephens had a Trunk or Treat the weekend before Halloween. Thankfully, my Mom was able to finish Harper's Toad costume just in time for the festivities. She completed the Mario Brothers family costume. The boys loved their costumes and Harper surprisingly didn't take the hat off. Thank the Lord! A Halloween Miracle :) LOL. They had a blast trunk or treating. Harper caught on pretty quick to take as much candy as she could. LOL!
Enjoying some of their loot

Pumpkin Patch 2014

We spent a Saturday at Vala's Pumpkin Patch. Let me tell you, I had no idea what we were getting into! That place is seriously like the Disneyland of Pumpkin Patches. We could have easily spent two days there especially going on the weekend. It was nuts but so fun. It was a perfect fall day and we all had fun. Next year I will definitely plan for a weekday and spend the whole day there. It really is a neat place.
Feeding the animals was a big hit. Harper LOVED trying to feed the goats.
The "Pillows" were the favorite activity for the boys. Even Harper got to bounce but I had to be with her. It was really fun. None of us had ever been on these before. They were so fun!

God's Shining Star

In October, Jordy had his turn at being "God's Shining Star" for the week. This is when each student gets to create a poster all about them to show and tell to their class. He was SO EXCITED to have his turn and he and I had a lot of fun putting his poster together. He did such a great job presenting it to his class. He is growing so much being in preschool. I am just so proud of him!
