FALL

Could not pass up the photo opportunity that came with taking the kids to a local nature preserve/park to rake up leaves for a giant pumpkin bag they wanted to fill. Unfortunately we don't have enough trees in our yard to fill the bag so we headed here to collect them. It was too perfect of a setting to not snap away . . .

Neighborhood Kids

One of the amazing parts about our house here in Omaha is our neighbrhood. There are kids everywhere and Logan and Jordy are absolutely loving it! They spend hours outside everyday after the older kids get out of school. They often end up in our yard (which I love because although the boys are getting bigger, I am not completely comfortable letting them venture off too far yet)playing hide and seek or tag. And it is so nice because even the older kids play with the younger ones quite a bit. It just makes me so happy that my kids can experience life like this.

K-State Weekend

Jeremy and I got the opportunity to head back to our old stomping grounds! It had been nearly 10 years since I had been back in Manhattan. Jeremy had a few obligations he needed to atten but other than that we were free to relive the days. It was so much fun to spend a couple fun nights in Aggieville, see the KSU Volleyball Team, walk through campus, eat at some of our favorite spots, and go to a KSU Football game. What an amazing weekend and to top it off we got to spend it with some of our closest friends from California (most of whom also went to K-State).
Our first night in Aggieville! We were having a good time that's for sure :)

Fall Soccer

The boys are right in the middle of their soccer season. They are playing on the same team this season. Logan is playing in his third season and definitely started the season at a much higher level than he ever has before. He gets the game a little more and understands that he needs to hustle after the ball. This is Jordy's first time playing and he is still learning. Although he has no problem joining in the game when he wants to.
And this picture sums up Jordy much of the time. Lol! Sometimes as a parent it can be frustrating starting them in sports but at the same time I love the innocence that is so pure. They are still so young and all we want is for them to have fun and enjoy learning the game. So I will take the few moments that they do learn a little something.

Jordy's First Year of Preschool

Jordy also started preschool at St. Stephens. He is going two days a week and he is absolutley thriving! He LOVES being a big kid and getting to have his own teacher with his own classmates. He talks the entire way home about all the things he did. I am just so thrilled and happy for him.
He and mommy also got to have a special date to celebrate him going to school as well. It was definitely so nice to spend the quality one on one time with each of the boys before school.

Logan's Final Year of Preschool

Logan started his final year of preschool at the end of August at St. Stephens Preschool. I am still playing catch up getting current with the blog but slowly but surely I am getting it done. Jeremy wasn't in Nebraska when the boys started school. I was able to take Logan on a special date to celebrate him starting school and he loved it. These are my lovely phone pics of the day.
Logan is doing wonderful with preschool and totally enjoying his time there. He really enjoys the special classes his class gets to do at the elementary school such as using the library and going to gym.
