Logan is 4!!!!

Logan has been talking about turning 4 for a few months now. After last week he can finally say he is 4 and he makes sure everyone knows it! It is hard for me to say I have a 4 year old though. He no longer looks like a baby or a toddler. He is tall and lean and grows out of his clothes seemingly overnight. He truly looks like a big boy that rides his bike too fast down our hill for mommy's liking. But I guess that's what come along with being a 4 year old! This year has been a challenging year for both he and I but he has come out the other side of that. He has grown so much this year in all areas. He comes across as a miniature adult (a lot of the time)and that is just what he wants to be. He asks all the time, "How long until I'm an adult?" and I just think "I hope a very long time" but I know he is growing up so fast :(. It has been wonderful to watch him grow and thrive through his first year of preschool. He has formed friendship with kids that I had nothing to do with and that makes me proud and sad all at the same time. He loves to be outside finding bugs, exploring, and playing. He is an amazing big brother to both Jordy and Harper and I know they will always look to him through their life. Logan, we love you more than words can say and are looking forward to watching you grow this next year!

The night of his birthday we had cake and opened his presents. He requested a confetti cake, chocolate frosting, sprinkles, and Monsters University candles! I said, "Ok, I can do that" . . . Haha!

Harper's 1ST Playdate

Last week, Harper had her first play date with Emery her new friend. Of course Kenley, Logan, and Jordy had a good time too. Oh and the mamas too! :)
Don't you just love this sleeping position :)
He seriously cannot get enough of his baby sister
My pretty girl
L LOVES to hold her and he is really good at it too. She seems to like him most of the time :)

Logan's BUGGED OUT 4th Birthday Party

Logan turned 4 this month! We had his Birthday Party about two weeks ago at one of our neighborhood parks and had a blast. Logan is into all things buggy these days and spends much of his outdoor time searching for his latest "pets"! So it only made sense to have a bug themed party with all his buddies. We had bug jars for all the kids to find their own and Jeremy took them on a little hike in search of some to add to their jars. The day was great for everyone especially our big 4 year old!

We even had a "Bug Spray" fight. That was definitely a hit with all the kids!

Harper's First Week Home

Here are a few pics that I have taken over Harper's first week home.
