Olympics

One of the Mom's groups I belong to organized an "Olympics Games" for toddlers this weekend. They did a ball toss, a bean bag throw, and a race. Logan had a lot of fun and Jordy even got to participate towards the end. They both got medals and have been wearing them around the house everyday since. It was a fun event for all.

He was so proud of his medal!
Trying to get a group pic. This was the best we could do :)
I think we are officially ready for the real Olympics! At least Jeremy and I are!

Hutchinson Part 1

After our Omaha trip the boys and I headed south to Hutchinson with my parents to meet up with Jeremy and Grandma and Papa Wright. We were spending the week of the 4th with them before heading back to California. The week was full of heat and late nights shooting fireworks and we had a great time! However, there was a very unfortunate event that took place while we there. Jeremy's Grandma, Grandma Mary, passed away while we were there. She had been put into Hospice the week before so we knew that time was coming. Although it was very sad to lose her, she had been fighting her age for quite some time so to know that she was at peace and with our Lord was also nice. We were also thankful that our family was able to be there to celebrate her beautiful life with the rest of the family.
Logan and Cousin Adi enjoying the water
Logan was not at all interested in the fireworks (which was looking to be a big problem with a Papa and Daddy who love them) until Papa brought out the earphones. From that moment on Logan said, "Bring em on!"
Love this picture
Papa Bert and Logan's finished puzzle
Jordy LOVED Adi but is also at the age of being too aggressive and rough so it was always necessary to be right by him when he was around her. Poor Adi . . . Next visit he WILL be softer. :)
Happy 4th of July! As you can see in most of the pics, my boys were in their swimsuits and diapers most of the week.
Logan made some friends during the week and one night they all sat and watched the fireworks together. It was super cute!
My parents spent a couple days in Hutchinson and on this night they were sitting watching fireworks with Grandma Cindy
Jordy was enjoying Grandma and Papa's backyard
Jeremy spent some time helping his parents by doing a lot of yard work. It was a lot of hard work. Such a good son!

Canadian Fishing Trip 2012

While the boys and I were in Omaha, Jeremy, his Dad, Bert, Brother, Jon, their good friend Matt, his step-Dad, and his neighbor were in Canada fishing for a week. As you can see, they caught some good sized fish and had a great time doing it.

Some BEAUTIFUL scenery!
