Logan's 1st Time at the Pool

On Saturday the weather was perfect to go to the pool for the first time this year. The pool itself is heated and so we decided Logan was ready to experience it. At first he wasn't sure what to think but he soon warmed up to it and I think we will be having many more trips to the pool. He was even sticking his face in the water! He absolutely loves the tub and flops around like a fish in there so I knew he would love the pool. The Easter Bunny brought Logan a "Tug Boat Floatie" which he really liked! Way to go Easter Bunny!

Our Hike

This weekend we decided to go for a 3 hour hike in the trails near our house. We hiked in about 45 min until we came to a rarely used trail called "Billy Goat Trail." We quickly realized why it was called this as it consisted of one hill after another. Logan was kind of unsure of what we were doing but we think he enjoyed it. It was a beautiful day and we got in a good little workout. We really had a lot of fun and the views were amazing!

Our attempt at a family picture. And Logan really was having fun although it doesn't look like it here :)

Logan is 9 Months Old!

On April 24th, Logan turned 9 months old. I have been so busy lately that is has been hard to get all my updates up on time.

Some things he is doing now:

* Walking with his walker
* "Talking" constantly
* Getting frustrated when other kids take his mommy or his toys from him
* Eating a lot of different regular foods like, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, cheese, scrambled eggs, kiwi, bananas, strawberries, and oatmeal
* He has his top four teeth coming all at once right now
* He is in all 18 month and up clothes
* He is 29 in and 25 lbs
* I know there is more but I just can't think right now :)

Can You Read My Shirt Daddy?

If you can't read his shirt it says, "I'm going to be a BIG BROTHER!" Yes it's true! We are pregnant with our second! I am 13 weeks along. This was how I told Jeremy the news. After bathime I got Logan into his pajama pants but instead of his usual shirt I put this on him. We headed into the playroom to play for a bit before bed with Jeremy. Logan had just started crawling so of course Jeremy wanted to get Logan to crawl and did not pay any attention to his shirt. And so I waited for about 10 min. until finally he noticed. Oh my gosh his reaction was worth the wait! His expression was one of shock and confusion at first that soon turned to excitement and happiness. Although we thought we would wait a bit longer we are now so excited that they will be so close and get to experience a lot of the same things together. I am officially due November 7th and that will make Logan 15 months old. We will soon have to little munchkins under 2! Whew! We are just very thankful for this second blessing and are excited for what's to come.
