Made With LOVE

I have been wanting to do a post on Harper's room for quite some time because I love what her room consists of. I have left some of the room out of the pictures but nearly every decorative piece in her room was made by someone special for her.
Grandma Dee poured her heart into the quilt, blankets, crib and nursery decor that she sewed herself. Thank you so much Mom for the amazing room you made for her. I created the wall decor, crib mobile, and pom poms. Grandma Cindy made multiple blankets for her room. And a dear friend from high school crocheted Harper a beautiful blanket as well. I truly LOVE her room because of all the HEART that was put into creating it!

Fun Stuff

As usual I am a bit behind on my posts but that's just the story of my life these days :). The pictures below are from a day out with my boys, some craft time, and a Hullabaloo Concert with friends.
One Friday morning we headed to a local nature preserve in Newport Beach for a "Wild Tales" class for little guys. It turned out to be a super fun class filled with story time, a neat craft, followed by a nature hike all about the wild animals/bugs/plants we have in our areas. Total hit with these two!!! Score one for mom! Oh yeah and this turned out to be the last one of the summer! Take that one back for Mom! LOL
Happy boys afterwards

Logan's 1st Day of Preschool (2nd Year)

Logan started preschool again last week and is one happy camper! He loves school and was excited to find out he would have Ms. Nancy (his teacher from last year)again.
After his 1st day we headed to Chick-Filet for a little celebrating!

Sorry for the poor quality of pictures . . . Camera phone has been used for a lot of this month :/

Green Gators 1st Soccer Game

Logan's first soccer game was 2 weekends ago and boy was it a hot 11:30 game. The boys worked hard through the game and it was so fun to cheer them on!
Somebody sure was excited!! :)

Swimming Lessons

Logan has been doing swimming lessons for the past 10 weeks. He has done so great and is swimming to the halfway point of the pool. He started lessons only being able to float on his back for a few seconds, so he has come a long way this summer. He just loves the water!
This picture cracks me up for a couple reasons . . . 1, Jordy loves to wear goggles at Logan's lessons while waiting for him. And 2, the way he is standing is a Jordy stance when he is being a little goofy
He decided it was more of a black goggle kind of day :)

Such a HAPPY swimmer

End of Summer Fun!

Logan starts his second year of preschool this coming week and we have been staying busy with some end of summer fun. Logan also started soccer the past week and had his first couple practices.
A good day for Pretend City . . .It was a hot one out there!
The marina is one of their favorites stops in the city
Nothing better than a little free creativity . . .Go ahead get messy buddy!
One day we checked out the Reptile Zoo while we had Daddy home with us
The boys absolutely LOVED this place . . . Not exactly my cup of tea though ;)
Apparently this is the LARGEST snake in the world. Something like 350lbs. Good thing we can check seeing that off our list ;)
Logan got to hold a Crusted Gecko! He loved it and so did Jordy but was perfectly fine just watching.
Haha! Loved his expression!
Checking out the new trampoline gym in our area. These places are sooooo much fun!
Haha! Logan and Grif with Jordy photobombing them! :)
