Play Date Fun and My Gym

This week Logan and Jordy got to play with their buddies Maya and Ty! Ann and I took the kiddos for a nice long walk and then made our way to a local park. Jordy sat in the sand for the first time and swing. He loved it all!

Logan being a goofball!

Logan has been going to a Saturday morning gym class since February and he is absolutely loving it. Today I gently nudged him to go to the front of the class when the teacher asked for a volunteer to do a front roll and He slowly and cautiously walked up to her. He demonstrated it (with the teachers help of course) perfectly and was so proud of himself after. He had to run over to Dad and give him knuckles and a high five and then run to me to do the same. He has learned to follow direction pretty well through this class and has learned many new songs/dances. We love My Gym!
He has no fear to just jump into the ball pit. This took about 2 months to work up to.
Climbing over the "Waves"

Jeremy and Jordy hang out during the class most of the time while Mommy and Logan are playing. Jordy loves his "Daddy" time!

Bunny Blast Weekend

This weekend we checked out Lake Forest's Bunny Blast Event. Logan LOVED it despite it being nap time and really warm. He has been talking about all the things we did all weekend.

Jordy and Kenley hanging out!

Logan with Alice In Wonderland . . . He was a little unsure :)

This was hilarious . . . He actually LOVED the Easter Bunny but wouldn't look up. He just kept saying "raaabbeeeett" real quiet while he was on his lap. And he has been talking about him ever since.
Before the egg scramble

Logan trying to pick up eggs. He got confused after seeing the workers throwing the eggs out for the scramble and began throwing them back out once he got them. Too cute!

As a result . . . He finished with 3 eggs!

He even rode a horse and absolutely loved it! He has been talking about it all weekend!

My cute little monkey. He has just started using the walker and is loving his new independence.

Spring Break With Grandma Dee

Grandma Dee visited this past week and what a blast we had. Our whole family was battling a pretty good cold and the boys each had ear infections with Logan's being the worst but we did our best to still have a great time while she was here. On Saturday, fresh off the plane, we headed to a petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano that we had never been to. Logan LOVED it and we had a lot of fun playing with and feeding all the animals. I'll say though that those poor animals are troopers to have toddlers chasing them around all day!
Some of the bunnies and guinea pigs hiding . . . I don't blame them!
Logan and Daddy feeding one
Poor little guy!

Logan kept shouting . . . BAAAAAAAH After the sheep would. He thought that was pretty cool!

Grandma and Logan on the Choo Choo Train
On Sunday we drove out to Riverside to hike Mt. Rubideaux. This is a 4 mile hike to the location where Fr Juniperro Serra, founder of the Catholic Mission, planted the first cross on California soil. My Great Great Grandmother Etta M. Cole traveled to this same place on April 19, 1919 to celebrate the annual Easter celebration. It was here that thousands of people came each year to join in this service of worship. It was a very neat hike and experience to be able to reflect and imagine a long lost family member being right where we were and what her journey must have been like.
The start of our journey

We have almost reached the top

Later that week Mom, myself and the boys headed to the San Diego Zoo! Logan again LOVED it and we are still talking about all the animals he got to see in person.
