Jordy is 2 1/2!

Jordy is our 2 1/2 year old spirited, imaginative, stubborn, and sweet little boy. He is growing like a weed. He makes us laugh all day with his funny imagination and challenges us with his independence and stubbornness at times.

Some things he is doing now . . .

*He LOVES all things music related (instruments, singing, dancing, marching)
*He is a great independent player and has a very strong and creative imagination
*He is a great sleeper as well (still naps about 2 hours a day)
*He is definitely not a follower to his brother and can stand up to him when he needs to.
*On the other hand . . . He loves Logan and they play a lot together these days
*Favorite foods are all things cheese, yogurt, blueberries
*He loves sports and anything with a ball
*Can count to 19
*Knows several songs and prayers
*He is wearing 3T and 4T clothes
*He is usually very generous with hugs and kisses
*His favorite show is Bubble Guppies

Family Bowling

Last weekend we all went bowling as a family. It was the boys' first time and they loved it. I thought it was so cute that they actually had shoes for them. Logan never used the "roller." He even wanted to hold the ball correctly with his fingers. He was very focused on bowling correctly. It is definitely something this family will be doing again! :)

Mother's Day "Week"/Family Vacation

Mothers Day "Week" started on Thursday, May 9th. All the Mom's were invited to "tea" at preschool. It was really fun to get to spend the day with Logan at school. He showed me around his classroom and some of the things he made and liked to play with. He also had made me a picture frame to put our picture in. It is now on my dresser in my room. :) It was a great way to start off Mothers Day! My "week" also started with homemade cards from the boys and a pregnancy massage/mani/pedi from Jeremy! I was definitely feeling loved! On Sunday morning we got up super early and headed to Las Vegas for our 1st official family vacation. Although not typically a family destination, we made it one by staying at a nice resort, swimming a ton, and finding fun little activities on the strip to do that WERE family friendly. It was definitely a GREAT trip for us especially when Logan said EVERYDAY how much fun he was having! That is what it is all about!

One of our first activities was to the Silverton to see the aquarium and the mermaid

Logan was a little unsure of the mermaid but kept wanting to go back and see her :)

Checking out Bass Pro Shop while we were there

Another stop was to M&M World. Probably Logan's favorite activity besides swimming. He thought that place was pretty neat!

This is a tradition that Jeremy does with the boys. Whenever we go to fun place that has those smashed pennies machines he gets them each one. The boys both have about 5 different smashed pennies in their collections from different places we have gone as a family.

Some serious swimming going on

It took some time for Jordy to actually get in the water but once he did he was so proud of himself. He did not want ANY help from anyone after that point

And this guy has no fear! A little scary for Mom and Dad but I am also thinking he will have a great summer of lessons. He wanted to swim without his floaties quite a bit towards the end of the trip

A little relaxation after a day of fun!

More swimming
One night we headed to the Flamingo for dinner and to check out all the wildlife and pretty scenery they have
33 Weeks
More water time
Playing at the park
That smile pretty much sums up the trip for this little man! (and the rest of us too :))

Home Depot Saturday

A few Saturdays ago, I took the boys to Home Depot's monthly kids workshop. We had never been before and if you have little ones it is definitely worth going to (and completely free :) ). On this day they made little planters to hang outside.
Very focused on their paint jobs.

32 Weeks and still Cookin'

I am 32 weeks along and baby girl is doing great. I feel pretty good at this point and can't complain. The boys wanted to be in the picture with their sister. Hehe

Fun Times and Uncle Jon Visits

Mamma needs to get the camera out again! Not too many pictures being taken right now. Need to work on that! A few weekends ago Uncle Jon made his annual visit and we all had a great weekend with him.
Lots of brothers going on here!

Our playdate to the petting zoo with Ty, Bradley, Maya, Kenley, and Stella

Kenley and Logan petting the animals

Jordy on his absolute favorite animal!

We had a couple hot days last week so we spent some time at the fountains!
