Omaha Visit Part 2

While we were in Omaha, we got to spend one day at one of my favorite places . . . My Aunt and Uncle's cabin. All three of the kids had a blast playing in the sand and water. Logan who loves animals but gets very nervous around dogs, took a great liking to my Aunt's dog, Libby. He played with her all afternoon!
Lots of digging to be done!
He played catch with Libby for quite some time. She was such a sweet dog to Logan
Logan loved jumping of the dock!
Gma and Harper
And Daddy arrived just in time to celebrate Father's Day. The boys had lots of cards to give to him :)

Omaha Visit Part 1

The kids and I spent the first 10 days of our vacation in Omaha before Jeremy joined us. We spent a lot of time in G and P's back yard running around. We also made it to the Childrens museum to check out yet another dinosaur exhibit.
Pool time in the backyard
WHAT?!?!?! Am I doing something wrong?? LOL
The ball area at the CM is always a huge hit. Grandma and Jordy playing

*She converted from primarily crawling to walking being her preferred mode of transportation
*She is very "easy" and "go with the flow" for the most part
*She LOVES to swim and be in the pool
*Blows kisses
*Saying and signing "All Done"
*She is a complete chatterbox

Jeremy's Birthday Camping Trip

For Jeremy's Birthday this year I decided that I would take him camping. He absolutely LOVES camping and we definitely do not do it as much as he would like. So we headed to Big Bear for the weeekend while Grandma Dee stayed back with the kids. We had a lot of fun hiking and just spending quality time together.
Our resort for the weekend!
I have a few more pics to add later from my phone . . .

Natural History Museum and Space Shuttle

Logan and Jordy LOVE dinosoars. I have been wanting to take them to the Natural History Museum for awhile now because they have a huge Dinosaur exhibit and a ton of other really cool things for kids. Logan especially was super excited about going. The morning of, he ran into my room, Thanking me repeatedly for taking him there and saying this was the best day of his life!! Lol. You know their expectations are always so much greater than what usually plays out but in this case he really did LOVE every bit of the museum! Such a fun day and we got to spend it with Grandma too!
Outside the NHM. I had my camera on some funky setting so all my pics turned out a bit out of focus. uugghh! Oh well
The boys next to a Baby T-REX, a Teenager T-Rex, and an Adult T-REX! Pretty cool!

Thank you Grandma for their Dinosaurs and Space Shuttles! They had such a great day!

Logan had his last days at Lutheran Church of the Cross in early June. It was so sad to say Goodbye to all his teachers and friends who have been in our lives the last two years. We absolutely love LCC and it has been the perfect school for Logan to begin his school journey in.

Hitting The Pool!

We have been trying to get to the pool as much as possible this summer. Logan can't get enough of the water or the slides and he is swimming like crazy. Jordy is doing great in swim lessons and is really excited about trying the new things he is learning in the pool during our time.
