Gymnastics Fun

Jordy has been doing gymnastics for quite a few months now and absolutely love it. He does really well at it too and likes to try all the new things. He struggles with listening to his teacher at times but has gotten immensely better at it over time. right now he is doing gymnastics with his good buddy "Elliot". She is one of Logan's best buddies little sister. Every Monday after gymnastics we all head to the local park and play for a couple more hours. It has been a nice routine for us and the weather has been absolutely beautiful on those days. I am definitely enjoying our time outdoors a bit more during these winter months knowing my time is limited with them. :)
Yes, Griffin and Logan are in their undies! I may have over dressed my boys a bit not realizing it was going to end up in the 80's so we decided to let them play in their briefs. I must say they were pretty cute too!

Valentine's Day 2013

This Valentine's Day is one that will be hard to beat . . . I love this holiday because to me it is just one more reason to show those we love just how much. I did marry a man however who does not put as much value on this holiday typically. However you would never guess that this year. We gave each other out gifts the night before. He surprised me with flowers, chocolates, a beautiful card(which to me is the best . . .no need to spend a lot)that made me cry, and DIAMOND EARRINGS! What!!!! They are BEAUTIFUL! Way to go Handsome Hubby!! I LOVE YOU!

And on to the rest of the day . . .The boys had special surprises to wake up to at their seats for breakfast. Logan had a BLAST at his V-Day party at school. After their naps, the boys headed to a friends house to play while Jeremy and I headed to our ultrasound and dr's appt. This go round we decided to have the lady put the gender of our baby in an envelope for us to open later. We took the boys to Chucky Cheese's for a fun Valentine's Day Family night and that is where we got the best surprise!
It's a GIRL!!!! We are still in shock!

Logan and the "Flaming Tigers"
A couple weekends ago after Logan's soccer game, we came home to a funny little visitor. Meet Seymore!
Seymore we found out is a desert tortoise who may or may not have been someone's pet but who we believe has been residing in our bushes for quite some time.
After taking care of him for the weekend we decided to get him to a place where he could become someone's pet. The boys LOVED having him and were very sad to see him go :(

Logan is 3 1/2

Logan turned 3 1/2 in January and I feel like he needs an update. You see my blog is MY way to preserve these moments in time forever and I always want to remember him at this moment. Everyday he reminds me more and more of his daddy. He really is like his "Mini-me". He is thriving at preschool and has many many friends. Two of his best friends at this time are Griffin and Tate and everyday after preschool he tells me he misses them and can't wait to see them again. He definitely has the same "protector" personality that Jeremy has and I absolutely love that about him. He protects his brother and takes care of him so sweetly. It is so funny when Jeremy says something to me that Logan "thinks" is not "ok" to say to mommy because he speaks right up and defends me to the core. It almost never is something that Jeremy has said inappropriately but how Logan heard it and so we have to talk it through a little. But it is still so sweet.

He LOVES computer games and preschool workbooks and there are afternoons I have to make him get away from the table and quit working on them and help him to go find some toys to play with. He just loves to use his mind. I am so excited for him to be a big brother again because he is so excited. He was so little when Jordy was born that this is so different for him. He asks daily how big baby is now and talks about holding the baby and helping me with the baby all the time.

Logan is not napping 75% of the time but still needs one every now and then. He loves animals and being outside. He also talks non-stop and is constantly asking question after question. :) He is working on being a better listener and not challenging mom and dad with everything. :) He is a very picky eater these days, but I have enforced a rule of trying 1 new food every night at dinner and he is getting a little better at it. Small steps small steps. Our Logan blows us away everyday with his challenging wit (at times) and his sweet heart and we are both so proud of this little man growing up before us. We love you Logan!
