Long Overdue
I know it's been awhile and I apologize to all those avid blog followers ;). Here are a few pictures from the birthday party Logan and I went to for our friend Payton. Logan sat on the grass for the first time and really didn't know what to think of it. As you can see in the picture his first reaction was to keep his hands from touching it!

Funny To Watch
Yesterday I watched a friend's sister's little boy for a few hours and I am finding it funny how Logan loves having other babies over. You can just tell that he is excited to show them his house and kind of shows off when they are here. He wants to touch them and give them toys. It is very funny to watch.

It's Official, We're Mobile
This weekend Logan crawled for the first time! I can already see a change in his mood because he knows he can get places on his own. Oh no right! No more leaving him in one room for a moment to get something. Who knows where we would find him now!

Logan is 7 Months Old!
This picture kind of tells exactly what Logan is doing at 7 months! He is super curious about everthing . . . PAPER namely! :)Some things he is doing right now:
- Has moved into the forward-faceing carseat
- He is not necessarily crawling but he is making his way around the room in some way or another. He rolls in all directions, gets up on all fours, and scoots backwards.
- He is starting to cry when Mommy leaves the room
- He has his 2 bottom teeth
- He LOVES his walker and plays a game where he has go into the kitchen and remove the towels that are hanging from the stove and dishwasher. It is pretty funny to watch because he is on a mission when he does this.
- He likes to get up onto his knees in his crib and when he is playing
- He is into shreiking! Oh my I hope that doesn't last! :)
- He is learning how to go to sleep on his own in his crib but he is still getting up one time in the middle of the night to eat. Usually at about 4:00 am.
- He is wearing all 12 month - 18 month clothes
- He has learned how to drink from a sippy cup . . . Yay!
- He is very into saying "ba ba", "blah blah", or "ah ah". We are working on "ma ma" and "da da". It hasn't happened yet but soon!

Fun Over The Weekend
This weekend I got to go out to dinner with some friends. It was so nice to just relax and talk with those girls. We ended up closing down the restaurant. Jeremy was on "Daddy Duty" for the evening. Earlier that day I took Logan and Delilah (the little girl I watch) to the park for the first time. They loved it and we ended up taking Logan back on Saturday! I love this park and am so glad it is so close to our house. I am sure we will be going there quite often. And finally on Sunday Logan and I went to Delilah's 1st Birthday Party. Overall it was a fun weekend!

A Normal Week
It's just been a normal week but I wanted to give a quick update. We have had a great week. Nothing special but still great. Jeremy and I had a good Valentine's Day. Jeremy had the day off (he has been working a lot lately even Saturday) so we just relaxed and spent some much need relaxation time together. Oh and we went to Costco! :) We love that though! Logan is obviously doing good and everyone who sees him often thinks that he has grown up so much in the past couple weeks. Even Daddy says that when he gets home from work. He continues to work very hard each day to learn to crawl and I can tell you he is very close.

Sun and Surf 1/2 Marathon!
This weekend was the Sun and Surf Marathon and Half Marathon in Huntington Beach. I have been training with a group called Team in Training which is an organization that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My Dad had also been training for this race. It was both of our first Half's and we were very excited to be running it in such a beautiful place. It was really incredible to run with such a large number of people. I think we figured there were about 20,000 people doing either the Full, Half, or 5K. There were about 11,000 doing the Half.

Papa and LoganSo I can tell you it was an incredible expereince and I will definitely be doing it again and someday do a full marathon. However I will have to figure out how to get back to a nice training schedule because I was not 100% ready for this one and that is not how I want to run these races. Miles 1-10 were pretty good and then I hit the wall. Thankfully my Dad stuck with me. We never stopped running if you want to call it running. :) I think walkers were passing me. J/K. Dad is in great shape and could have easily left me in the dust but he didn't. I am so proud of my Dad! He did awesome! Thanks for doing this with me. :)
So here's to my Dad, Jeremy, and Myself! We have all completed our first Half Marathons and will hopefully get a few more under our belts. Jeremy led it off last year by completing this same race!

Having Fun!
Logan got this play table for Christmas and the other night was the first time he actually realized that he could have fun with it while standing. I think mommy is going to like this toy! hehe
