A few days before Easter the caterpillars that we were watching turn to butterflies came out of their cocoons. What a fun spring experience to be able to do with your kids. Logan has been talking about the butterflies a lot and always want to go outside and see if they have returned.

Easter 2012
As I continue to grow older I gain a new understanding for the blessing that is Easter. Jesus Christ is risen! And we are all here to reciprocate His love for us to each other! Our Easter was beautiful and as a family of four we spent our morning at mass and then on to a pancake breakfast. We then headed home to see what the Easter Bunny had brought and find the eggs he had hidden.

I just love seeing all three of them share a blanket. They are becoming such good buds.

My little potato head :) He put those glasses on all by himself!

On Saturday we had a family day at the Irvine railroad where they have a lot of Easter activities for the kids. The Easter Egg Hunt was a big hit with both the boys.

G & P Stanzel Visit
Grandma and Papa Stanzel came to visit last week. As usual it was so nice having them here. We did a bit of sight seeing as well as just enjoying time together at our new house.

Checking out Torrey Pines golf course! A hit especially with Dad.

Then we headed to the USS Midway which is a retired aircraft carrier that was in service during the years 1943-1992. It was really neat to see a piece of history up close.

Checking out some of the old aircraft.Definitely lots of fun for the boys (and girls :) ).

The next day we headed down to San Juan Capistrano to visit Zoomars, a local petting zoo. Jordy and Logan got to ride the horses and they both had a blast! Jordy especially absolutely LOVED it.

From there we headed to one of the first Catholic Missions that was founded in 1776 by Fr. Juniperro Serra. It was really a neat and beautiful place.

Back in the Swing of Things . . .
So it has been a LLLOOOONNNGGG time since I have posted anything! We are just now getting settled into our new place. We handed over the keys to our old house last week and can finally start to relax a bit after this whole chaotic ordeal. Between packing, unpacking, sorting, cleaning, organizing, arranging, rearranging, and the ever growing list that never seems to get shorter, life has been nuts!. I am so happy to be starting to feel normal again and for all of us to get back to our daily fun lives. In the midst of all this I did try to keep us entertained as much as possible and managed a few pics along the way. So here are some of the fun moments along the way this past month.

About a month ago we decided to get out of town and head down to SD and spend the day at the zoo. It was a nice and much needed break from packing.

I LOVE this picture of my boys!
